Cooking ingredients

  • Beef/ Chicken/ Mutton 1 kg
  • Basmati Rice 750gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 3 tablespoon
  • Oil/ghee 1 cup
  • Onion 5 nos.
  • Tomato 6 nos.
  • Potato 4 nos.
  • Yogurt 150 gm
  • Milan Foods Biryani Masala 1 packet
  • Food color one pinch
  • Kewra water 1 teaspoon
  • Mint and coriander ½ bunches
  • Green chilies 4-5

Ingredients

  • – Salt
  • – Red Chilli
  • – Black Pepper
  • – Laurel
  • – Dried Plums
  • – Ginger
  • – Fenugreek Seed
  • – Turmeric
  • – Cinnamon
  • – Small Cardamom
  • – Large Cardamom
  • – Garlic
  • – Clove
  • – Black Cumin

Cooking instructions

  • Mix Beef/ Chicken/ Mutton, Biryani Masala, Ginger garlic paste, Yogurt, and Potatoes. Keep aside for a few minutes.
  • Heat ghee/oil and fry all the sliced onions until golden brown. Take out half of the onion on a kitchen towel. Add tomatoes to the remaining onions in the pan and roast them together until the oil separates. Now add a mixture of meat and Biryani Masala and roast everything together.
  • If using beef or mutton, add 2 cups of water and if using chicken add a half cup of water until the meat is tender. Now increase the flame till oil separates.
  • Boil 12 cups of water separately and add two tablespoons of salt, now add soaked rice. Boil the rice until it is three-quarter tender. Drain the rice thoroughly.
  • Spread rice on prepared Masala and spray Kewra and color. Also, add coriander and mint leaves and golden-brown fried onion and cover the pot.
  • Cook on slow flame till fumes evolve.
  • Serve tasty Biryani with Salad and Raita.
