I hate to break it to you, but with the exception of delivering the baby, there is no 100 percent way of knowing whether your unborn child is a boy or girl. Ultrasound is not yet 100 percent, but it is the most reliable way of predicting it.

My sonogram isn’t for another five weeks, so I figured I’d play around and see if they come up with some ways to predict gender.

Intelligent-Gender Test of Prediction

To check it out, I was given an Intelligent Gender Prediction Test and had a lot of fun with it. If you try it, just note that it’s just for fun! I assume the precision is somewhere about 50 percent, and not the final answer as to what you have.

It is really simple to use. With the syringe given, just pour a little urine into the cup, stir and wait.

The colour of the boy with the word BOY written on it is on the back of the cup. The word Child, with its corresponding color, is on the front. The sex of your baby is whatever color the urine most closely matches.

Predictor for Chinese Gender

The Chinese map for gender prediction is another tool that many individuals like to use for fun.

Based on the Chinese map, you type in your due date or date of conception (whatever you are sure of), your date of birth, and the gender of your baby is expected.

The Chinese Gender Chart states that I’m going to have a child!

Prediction of Fetal Heart Rate and Gender

An old wives tale is that for the first time when you go in to hear the heartbeat of your infant, you can tell what you are getting based on the heart rate speed.

A heart rate above 140 means that you have a kid, or less than 140 means that you have a child.

The heart rate of my little ones was about 150-160.

I will have a girl according to my heart rate!

So, 2/3 of the tests I’ve done suggest it’s going to be a man. But, in a couple of weeks, we’ll get a closer look.
